Booking limo service in Santa Monica
A limo booking runs smoothly when we know a few things early. Here is what we ask.
Headcount first
Each luxury SUV carries up to six people with luggage, so a group of fourteen takes three cars that leave together. If anyone is small, elderly or needs a steadying hand at the door, say so when you call.
Where everyone is picked up
Santa Monica nights often begin in several places: friends at a house near Pico, parents at a hotel on Ocean Avenue, a couple downtown. Send every address and we build the route around them.
Choosing the drop-off
Third Street Promenade is closed to cars, so we name a nearby street for a Promenade drop-off. Hotels and restaurants each have a preferred stopping place, and we check it before the day.
Airport runs
For LAX, send the flight number and we track it. Hollywood Burbank is roughly 24 miles away and Van Nuys roughly 15 road miles, so the pickup time moves accordingly. See our airport car service in Santa Monica page for more.
Formal wear and gifts
Gowns, suits, garment bags and gift boxes all need room. An SUV handles them, and we plan the seating before the car arrives.
Timing the evening
Santa Monica restaurants and hotels get busiest on weekend evenings, and parking around the Pier is tight. Plan the pickup a little ahead of the reservation and let the chauffeur absorb the traffic. If dessert runs long, call dispatch and we will adjust the ride home.
Shared costs among friends
Groups that split the bill like to know the total up front. Because our price is fixed at booking, one person can share the figure with everyone before the night.
Planning for rain
Rain on the coast is rare but disruptive. The chauffeur brings the car as close to the door as the street allows, so formal shoes stay dry.
Child seats
We carry child seats on request. Mention the ages when you book.
