Getting around Santa Monica with a chauffeur
A few local habits shape how we plan a ride here. This is what we watch for.
The Promenade is car-free
Third Street Promenade is three open-air blocks closed to cars. We meet you at the nearest street corner and tell you exactly where the car is waiting, so you aren’t hunting for it with shopping bags.
Hotels along Ocean Avenue
Hotel Casa del Mar on Ocean Way and Shutters on the Beach both face the sand, and their entrances get busy at check-in time. Tell us the hotel and we’ll plan the approach and pickup spot ahead of the day.
Early flights
LAX is about 9 to 10 road miles from the city, but the last stretch is the slow one. For a morning departure we set the pickup earlier than you might expect and track the flight number.
Dinner on Main Street
Main Street sits a few blocks from the beach, east of Pico and south of Lincoln. Friday and Saturday nights are crowded, so a booked ride home beats searching for a car at closing time.
Hospital visits
Providence Saint John’s Health Center on Santa Monica Boulevard and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center on 16th Street each have their own entrances. Give us the department and we’ll choose the right door.
Weddings and big dinners
The Fairmont Miramar hosts weddings, and guests often arrive from several hotels at once. We time the cars to pull up together. See our luxury chauffeur service in Santa Monica for event days.
Business meetings
Offices sit along Wilshire and around Colorado Avenue. Our executive travel in Santa Monica page explains how those rides work.
Child seats
We carry child seats on request. Give us the age when you book and the right one will be in the car.
