Executive car service in San Diego, a planning guide
Executives who travel to San Diego usually have several stops, and each one sits in a different part of the city. This is how we think through a day before the first pickup.
Landing at SAN
San Diego International Airport is inside the city, about three miles northwest of downtown. If you land in the morning with a meeting in the afternoon, the airport run is the short part of the day. We ask for your airline and your hotel or office address when you book.
Downtown meetings
The bayfront hotels, the San Diego Convention Center and the offices around them are close together. Give us the building name and the entrance you prefer, and we confirm it when you reserve.
University City and La Jolla Village Drive
University Town Center sits on La Jolla Village Drive, close to UC San Diego and the Hyatt Regency La Jolla. A client visit in that area is a straight run north from downtown, and we plan extra margin for the freeways.
Sorrento Valley and Kearny Mesa
Sorrento Valley is a life sciences and technology employment area, and Kearny Mesa has business and industrial parks. Both sit inland from the coast. If you are visiting several offices in one morning, list the addresses in order and we price the whole plan once.
Convention weeks
When a trade show is at the San Diego Convention Center, the area around the Hilton San Diego Bayfront and the Gaslamp Quarter fills with visitors. If you are attending, tell us which hall or hotel door you need and the time you want to be there, and we plan the pickup around the crowd.
Dinner with clients
Little Italy and the Gaslamp Quarter are the usual choices for a client dinner. Share the restaurant name and the end time, and we agree on the pickup spot ahead of time so the evening finishes without a search for a ride.
Flying private
Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport is a general aviation field in Kearny Mesa. Send the operator and the tail number when you book, and we plan the meeting point with the operator.
Booked from Los Angeles
We have no San Diego office. Our base is in Woodland Hills, around 146 road miles from here, so every executive ride in the city is booked ahead and arranged for your date.
