Getting around Vista with a private car
Vista is compact enough that a single car can cover a full day of stops. This is how we think about its main areas.
Downtown and the breweries
Downtown Vista has taprooms and restaurants within a few blocks of each other. Belching Beaver Brewery Tavern is at 302 E Broadway, and Vista Village Pub is on Main Street. The city promotes its breweries along what it calls the North County Hops Highway. Hiring a driver lets everyone in the group enjoy the evening without sorting out who stays sober.
Brengle Terrace Park
The Moonlight Amphitheatre sits in Brengle Terrace Park and runs a summer season of Broadway musicals and a concert series. Tell us the show and the return time, and we plan the pickup for both ends.
The adobes and the museum
The Rancho Buena Vista Adobe is at 640 Alta Vista Drive, across from the Vista Civic Center, and the city rents it for weddings and private events. Rancho Guajome Adobe stands in Guajome Park. Farm machinery is the theme at the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum, on Santa Fe Avenue. A group visiting all three can ride together in one SUV.
Gardens and the waterpark
Alta Vista Gardens and The Wave waterpark are both on the city’s list of summer attractions. Families often ask for a car with room for a child seat, which we provide on request.
Weddings and private events
Couples choosing the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe often have guests coming from hotels and from out of town. One black luxury SUV can bring a wedding party to the courtyard together, and a second car can carry grandparents or a late arrival. Send the date, the guest count and the addresses, and we propose the cars.
Main roads
State Route 78 serves the city, and local drivers know Vista Village Drive, Santa Fe Avenue, Melrose Drive and East Vista Way. We confirm the exact pickup address with you when you book, so the chauffeur arrives at the right door.
