Getting around Pasadena with a chauffeur
The city is compact, but it has pinch points that catch visitors out. Here is how we plan the usual ones.
Colorado Boulevard and Old Pasadena
Old Pasadena is built from brick blocks, one-way side streets and busy restaurant doors. We pick a pickup corner in advance so you are not hunting for a car among valet lines on a Saturday night.
The Rose Bowl and Brookside Park
The stadium sits in the Arroyo Seco, and event traffic funnels onto a few roads. We agree on a drop-off and a return point before the day, which saves the long walk back through the parking lots.
Lake Avenue and the office corridor
South Lake Avenue carries the daytime business crowd. Morning pickups here need an earlier departure than the map suggests, and we build that in.
Foothill streets and gated drives
Parts of Linda Vista, Oak Knoll and Hastings Ranch have winding streets and private gates. Give us the gate code or a contact at the door and the chauffeur handles the rest.
Rose Parade week
Around New Year’s Day, road closures change the usual routes through the center of town. If you are booking for that week, tell us early and we will map the pickup around the closures.
Hotels, the Convention Center and the Civic Auditorium
Pasadena has a cluster of hotels near the Civic Center, plus the Langham Huntington to the south. Each has a lobby entrance where a chauffeur is welcome to wait, and we confirm which one before the day. For conferences and shows, we match the pickup to the door your group will actually use.
Evenings in the Playhouse District
Dinner and a show near the Pasadena Playhouse is an easy booking: a pickup at home, a drop-off at the door, and a return time you set with the chauffeur. Plans run late sometimes, and a quick call moves the pickup.
