Black car service in Santa Barbara County: how to reserve one
A reserved car works best when we know the shape of your day. These are the questions we ask first.
Where does the day start and end
County rides rarely go in a straight line. You might start in Goleta, collect friends in Santa Barbara and finish in the valley. Give us every address, and we plan a single route instead of asking people to meet halfway.
Which roads will we use
US-101 is the main route along the coast and through Santa Maria. Highway 154 crosses San Marcos Pass between Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez, and Highway 246 connects Lompoc with Solvang. We choose the best road on the day, based on conditions.
How many riders and how much luggage
Tell us the head count and what’s coming along. A couple with two bags rides well in a sedan, while a group with luggage or gear does better in an SUV.
Do you need a child seat
Child seats are available on request. Give us the ages when you book, so the right seat is in the car at pickup.
Is it one stop or several
A single transfer is priced as a transfer. A day of stops is better handled by the hour, and our hourly car service in Santa Barbara County page explains how that works.
Hotel and venue pickups
Hotels, resorts and wedding venues each have a spot where cars are expected to stop. Give us the name of the place and the time, and we plan the arrival point so you aren’t walking far in good shoes.
Busy weekends
Spring and fall weekends bring weddings and wine visitors, and summer fills the beaches. Reserve early for those dates, and tell us if your plans include more than one stop. A detailed booking is easier to keep on time.
When you need the car back
If you want the return trip arranged now, say so. We can book both directions together and time the second one to your plans.
