How an hourly booking works in San Bernardino County
Booking by the hour is flexible, and a little planning keeps it that way. Here is how most bookings come together.
Build the itinerary
List the stops in the order you expect to visit them, with the addresses and the times that matter. If one stop is open-ended, tell us, and we shape the booking around it.
Choose the start and the end
The car can begin at your home, hotel or office and finish somewhere else. Many guests start at ONT and end at a hotel in the valley, or the reverse.
Leave room for the road
Distances are long here. A trip up to Big Bear Lake on Highway 330 takes in a mountain road that is busiest on weekends, and winter can add chain requirements. We suggest more time for those days and can talk it through with you.
Changing the plan
Plans move. If lunch runs long or a stop is dropped, tell the chauffeur or call us, and we adjust the rest of the day. We agree how any change affects the booking when we talk.
Passengers and bags
A sedan fits one to three riders, and a luxury SUV seats up to six with luggage. Child seats can be added on request.
Waiting and stops
One of the benefits of hiring by the hour is that the car is there when you come out of a stop. We agree how long you expect each stop to last, and the chauffeur positions the car close to the entrance so your exit is quick.
Day trips beyond the valley
A day can begin in the valley and reach the mountains or cross the county line. Share the farthest point on your list and we check the whole day fits the hours you have booked.
Meals and comfort
Mention if you plan a long lunch or a late dinner, and we shape the booking around it. A comfortable pace is part of the point of an hourly day.
Short hours and long ones
Some bookings cover a quick errand run and others last a full working day. Say which you expect and we shape the plan accordingly, with the start, the stops and the finish clearly written down. You see the plan before the day, so there are no surprises about where the car will be.
