Chauffeur service in Pico Rivera, planned around the city
A good ride here comes from knowing the streets people really use. This is how we plan a day in Pico Rivera.
Getting on the 605
The San Gabriel River Freeway runs along the southeastern edge of the city, so most longer trips begin with a short run on Whittier Boulevard or Washington Boulevard to a ramp. Those boulevards fill up at commute time, and we set pickup times with that in mind.
Washington Boulevard and the Towne Center
Pico Rivera Towne Center is a 60-acre open-air shopping complex at 8982 Washington Boulevard. It was built where an old Northrop Grumman plant once stood, and it is an easy meeting point for a group that is coming from different directions. We agree on the exact stop before the day.
Rosemead Boulevard and the middle of town
State Route 19 runs through the center of the city as Rosemead Boulevard. Smith Park sits at 6016 Rosemead, and plenty of our weekend pickups start on the blocks around it. A chauffeur who texts on arrival saves everyone a trip to the curb.
Libraries and civic visits
The Pico Rivera Library is at 9001 Mines Avenue and the Rivera Library is at 7828 Serapis Avenue. City Hall is at 6615 Passons Boulevard. If you are heading to any of them with a parent, a child or a stack of paperwork, tell us and we choose the closest door.
The river edges
The Rio Hondo and the San Gabriel River both run beside the city. Early departures from the neighborhoods near them are quiet and quick, and we like to schedule them with a margin.
Planning around events
Weekends bring graduations, family parties and church services to the city, and the roads near each venue get busy before the start time. Send us the event address and the time guests should arrive, and we work backward to a pickup that leaves room for parking-lot traffic and a calm walk to the door.
Flying in or out
Long Beach is the shorter ride and LAX the longer one, with the choice depending on your airline. Our Pico Rivera airport transfers page covers both.
