Getting around Burbank by car
Burbank is easy to cross, but the details of each stop decide whether a ride feels smooth. These are the things we sort out first.
Airport days
Hollywood Burbank is close to everything in town, so most airport rides are short. Give us the airline and flight number and we track it. If the trip is heavy on bags, ask for an SUV and we send the larger car.
Studio visits
Disney, Warner Bros. and the other studios in the Media District each have their own entrances and drop-off points. Send the name of the person you are seeing and the building, if you have it, and we confirm where to stop before the day.
The I-5 and the 134
The two freeways meet in Burbank, and the interchange backs up at the usual commute hours. We set departure times around that instead of hoping for a clear road.
Dinner in Downtown and Magnolia Park
Around Magnolia Boulevard and San Fernando Boulevard, parking takes more time than the meal. The chauffeur drops you at the door and comes back when you call.
Past the city line
From Burbank we also drive to Hollywood, Universal City, the rest of the Valley and across to the Westside. Hollywood Burbank to LAX runs roughly 20 to 28 road miles depending on the route, so for an early flight we plan a generous start rather than a tight one.
Children and extra gear
Child seats are available on request, so tell us the ages when you book. Garment bags, camera cases and rolling racks are fine too. Mention them and we plan the space.
