Airport car service in Santa Maria, made easy
Most airport trouble comes from small details left open. This is what we settle with you when you book.
Which airport suits your flight
SMX is the local airport, and its flight schedule is published on the Santa Maria Public Airport District website. If your airline does not fly out of SMX, or your fare is better elsewhere, Santa Barbara and LAX are the usual alternatives. Tell us where your ticket takes you.
Arrivals and the curb
We confirm the meeting point with you when you book. For departures, the chauffeur drops you at the terminal and helps with your bags.
The run to Santa Barbara
SBA is on the west side of Santa Barbara, roughly 60 to 65 road miles from Santa Maria. The route follows US-101 south. We pick the departure time with a cushion, because a long run leaves little room to recover.
The run to LAX
At about 155 to 165 road miles, LAX is the longest of the three. If you are flying internationally, tell us, and we plan the start around check-in and security rather than the clock on the map.
Vineyard weekends and early flights
Wine country guests often fly out the morning after a wedding or a tasting trip. Give us your hotel address and flight time the day you book, and the chauffeur drives from the door to the terminal.
Arriving as a group
A wedding party or a team trip rarely lands on one flight. Send every arrival time, and we plan the pickups so that the cars match the flights. An SUV takes six with bags, and extra cars cover the rest.
Leaving from a hotel or a home
The Historic Santa Maria Inn at 801 South Broadway, the Fairfield Inn & Suites and homes in Orcutt all work as pickups. Give the exact address and the time you want to be at the airport, and we work backward from there. Early flights simply mean an earlier pickup, and the price is the same one you were quoted.
Bags, clubs and car seats
Golf bags, strollers and extra cases fit when we know about them in advance. A child seat is yours for the asking. Mention it, with the child’s age, in your booking.
