Your LAX ride

Getting to LAX from anywhere in Los Angeles.

LAX sits on the city’s southwest edge in Westchester, so the drive depends a lot on where you start. From Playa Vista or Westchester it’s a few minutes. From Downtown it’s usually a straight run down the 110 and the 105. From the Valley it means the Sepulveda Pass, which can be quick at 5 a.m. and slow at 5 p.m.

We plan around that. When you book a car service to LAX, we look at your neighborhood, your flight time and the day of the week, then suggest a pickup time with a real cushion built in.

Coming home, your chauffeur is already tracking the flight. Land early or land late, it doesn’t matter. You walk out and the car is there.

LAX car service: what to expect

LAX has nine passenger terminals arranged around one horseshoe-shaped loop. The Tom Bradley International Terminal sits at the far end, with Terminals 1 to 3 on one side and 4 to 8 on the other. Traffic on the loop can crawl in the afternoon and evening, which is why we time every arrival and departure carefully.

Departures

Tell us your airline and we drop you at the right terminal’s departure level. The TSA suggests arriving about two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international ones, and we add the drive from your neighborhood on top of that.

Arrivals

For domestic flights your chauffeur is in position before you land. For international arrivals at the Tom Bradley terminal, we allow time for passport control and customs, so you never walk out to an empty curb.

Rideshare vs. a car service at LAX

Taxis and rideshare pick up at the LAX-it lot, which you reach by shuttle from the terminals. A pre-arranged car service meets you at the terminal itself. After a long flight, skipping that extra shuttle and line is the part clients notice first.

Burbank and Van Nuys

Hollywood Burbank is often the easier airport for the Valley, Hollywood, Los Feliz and Silver Lake. Van Nuys, in the middle of the San Fernando Valley, is a busy hub for private aviation. If you fly private, we pick up at the FBO and, where the operator allows it, meet you planeside.

Booking tips

  • Share your flight number so we can track it.
  • Tell us how many bags you have, plus anything oversized.
  • Note any children who need car seats.
  • Let us know if you want a meet-and-greet inside the terminal.
  • Add a backup phone number for the traveler.
LAX black car service

Why Angelenos book a car service to LAX

Searches like airport car service Los Angeles, car service to LAX, LAX car service and LAX black car service all come down to one thing: getting to the airport without stress. Every ride is in a late-model black sedan or SUV. Sedans suit solo travelers and couples, SUVs fit up to six passengers with luggage, and for bigger groups we send cars together.

We also do a lot of car service from LAX for visitors heading to hotels in Downtown, Hollywood, Century City and the Westside. Your chauffeur knows the hotel entrances and gets you there with the least fuss. Outside the city? See our airport car service for all of Los Angeles County or across Southern California.

Visitors and groups

Airport rides for visitors and groups in Los Angeles

A lot of our airport rides are for people who don’t live here. If you’re visiting Los Angeles, a car service from LAX is the simplest way to start the trip: no rental counter, no shuttle to a parking structure and no learning the freeways on the first night.

Hotels we drive to every week

Visitors usually stay in a handful of areas: Downtown near L.A. Live and the Convention Center, Hollywood near the Walk of Fame, Century City and Westwood on the Westside, and the beach hotels in Playa Vista and Venice. Our chauffeurs know the entrances and valet areas at the big hotels, so drop-offs are quick even when the lobby is busy.

Traveling with a group

Families and teams often land on the same flight. An SUV seats up to six with luggage, and for larger groups we send two or more cars timed to arrive together. One booking covers everyone, and one chauffeur coordinates the pickup.

When plans change

Flights get cancelled, connections get missed, meetings move. If your plans change, call us at 747-309-0639 and we’ll update the booking. If your flight is simply delayed, you don’t need to do anything: we’re already tracking it.

What’s the easiest airport for the Westside?

For Santa Monica, Venice, Westwood and Brentwood, LAX is usually closest. Private flyers on the Westside often use Santa Monica Airport.

Can you take me to Long Beach or John Wayne instead?

Yes. Some flights are cheaper or more convenient from LGB or SNA, especially if you live in San Pedro or the southern part of the city. The booking works the same way, with one fixed price.

Pair it with our executive car service in Los Angeles for a full day of meetings.
