Airport car service in Bakersfield, made easy
Most airport problems come from small details nobody settled in advance. Here is what we ask when the booking starts.
Which airline and which flight
Meadows Field has United and American service, per its own website. Send us the airline and the flight number, and we shape the pickup around the departure or the landing time.
Getting to Meadows Field
The airport is northwest of downtown, close to Merle Haggard Drive and Airport Drive. From Seven Oaks or Stockdale the route crosses town, and from the downtown hotels it is shorter. We choose the way in based on the hour.
The long way to Burbank and LAX
Interstate 5 is the road south toward the Los Angeles area, and the distance is over 100 road miles. Early flights call for a very early pickup. We agree the time with you the day before.
Fresno and the north
State Route 99 runs north toward Fresno, where Fresno Yosemite International sits. Travelers use it when a fare or a nonstop route works out better from there.
Private flights
The Bakersfield Jet Center is the fixed-base operator at Meadows Field. If you fly privately, give us the operator and the time and we plan the meeting point with you.
Luggage and car seats
Tell us about oversized bags, golf clubs or a stroller when you reserve, and ask for a child seat if you need one. We choose the sedan or the SUV to fit the load.
Passengers from different addresses
Two colleagues living on opposite sides of town can share a flight but not a driveway. List both pickups with the times and we build the order of stops into one fare.
Rental cars and one-way trips
Some travelers pick up a rental car in Los Angeles and need a ride to the counter instead of a return drive. One-way trips are priced the same way, with the fare agreed before the day.
Checking in for the flight
Smaller airports like Meadows Field are quick to move through, while the Los Angeles airports take longer. Tell us which one you are flying from and we leave a gap that fits.
