Getting around San Clemente with a driver
San Clemente is a long, narrow town between the coast and the hills. A few details shared at booking keep every pickup simple.
Beach-area addresses
Streets near the pier and the beach trail can be tight to park on. Give us the full address and the cross street, and tell us which side of the block suits the car.
Hillside and inland neighborhoods
Talega, Forster Ranch, Rancho San Clemente and Marblehead sit inland, away from the water. A house number alone can be enough, though a gate code or entry note helps when you book.
The I-5 as the main route
The I-5 serves the town, with exits such as Avenida Calafia near San Clemente State Beach and Cristianitos Road for Trestles. Most longer trips begin there, so we plan them around the hour you leave.
The airport run
John Wayne Airport is about 27 to 28 road miles from San Clemente. Long Beach is roughly 46 to 48, LAX about 66, and San Diego International about 59 to 60. A longer drive gets an earlier start.
Arriving by train
The San Clemente Metrolink station is at 1850 Avenida Estacion, and the pier platform is at 615 Avenida Victoria. If you step off a train and want a private ride the rest of the way, give us the arrival time.
Event nights
Ole Hanson Beach Club and Casa Romantica both host gatherings. Tell us the event name and the entrance you prefer, and we plan arrivals and the ride home with you.
