LAX car service: what to expect
LAX has nine passenger terminals arranged around one horseshoe-shaped loop. The Tom Bradley International Terminal sits at the far end, with Terminals 1 to 3 on one side and 4 to 8 on the other. Traffic on the loop can crawl in the afternoon and evening, which is why we time every arrival and departure carefully.
Departures
Tell us your airline and we drop you at the right terminal’s departure level. The TSA suggests arriving about two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international ones, and we add the drive from your neighborhood on top of that.
Arrivals
For domestic flights your chauffeur is in position before you land. For international arrivals at the Tom Bradley terminal, we allow time for passport control and customs, so you never walk out to an empty curb.
Rideshare vs. a car service at LAX
Taxis and rideshare pick up at the LAX-it lot, which you reach by shuttle from the terminals. A pre-arranged car service meets you at the terminal itself. After a long flight, skipping that extra shuttle and line is the part clients notice first.
Burbank and Van Nuys
Hollywood Burbank is often the easier airport for the Valley, Hollywood, Los Feliz and Silver Lake. Van Nuys, in the middle of the San Fernando Valley, is a busy hub for private aviation. If you fly private, we pick up at the FBO and, where the operator allows it, meet you planeside.
Booking tips
- Share your flight number so we can track it.
- Tell us how many bags you have, plus anything oversized.
- Note any children who need car seats.
- Let us know if you want a meet-and-greet inside the terminal.
- Add a backup phone number for the traveler.
