Riding around Rosemead with a driver
Short distances still need a plan. These are the local things we think about before a car leaves the garage.
Garvey Avenue and Valley Boulevard
Both streets are lined with restaurants, bakeries and small shops, and curb space gets tight at lunch and in the evening. Tell us the entrance you want and the chauffeur will aim for it, with a text when the car is outside.
The Pomona Freeway ramps
The 60 has ramps in Rosemead at San Gabriel Boulevard and at Rosemead Boulevard. We check conditions before we roll and decide between the freeway and a surface street, whichever is moving better at that hour.
Walnut Grove Avenue
Edison International is headquartered in Rosemead, and Panda Restaurant Group is based here too. Visitors to company offices do better with a named door and a name on the car, so give us both when you book.
Garvey Park and the community centers
Family gatherings often land at Garvey Park, the Garvey Center on Garvey Avenue or the Rosemead Community Recreation Center on Muscatel Avenue. One SUV carries six people and their bags, and a child seat is available if you ask when you reserve.
Dinner in Pasadena, or a game day
Pasadena is about eight miles away, which sounds easy until a Rose Bowl event fills the roads around it. We build in extra time on those days and agree on a drop-off point before you go, so you walk in relaxed instead of circling for a space. For the ride home, tell us roughly when you expect to finish and we keep the car ready.
Appointments and errands
Medical visits, bank errands and government offices run to a clock that does not bend. Give us the appointment time and the address, and we set the pickup early enough to cover parking-lot delays and a slow elevator. Anyone who needs a hand getting in and out can ask the chauffeur for it.
Early starts and late returns
Plenty of Rosemead trips begin before sunrise, when airport travelers and commuters share the same on-ramps, or end after a long dinner in Pasadena or downtown. Our phone is answered day and night, so a 4 a.m. pickup is arranged just like a noon one, and a late return gets the same care as a morning start.
