Getting around Manhattan Beach with a chauffeur
A few local details shape how we schedule a ride here. This is what we plan around.
The Sand, Tree and Hill sections
Locals describe the city in three broad areas: the Sand Section along the ocean, the Tree Section in the middle band and the Hill Section above it. Liberty Village, also called Manhattan Heights, is another named neighborhood. When you book, name the street and any gate or alley access.
The pier and downtown
The Manhattan Beach Pier, built in 1920, stretches out from the end of Manhattan Beach Boulevard and ends at the Roundhouse Aquarium. Metlox Plaza and the downtown restaurants are a short walk away. On busy beach days we agree on a meeting spot just off the crowded blocks, so pickup is quick.
Hotels
Guests staying at Shade Hotel (1221 N Valley Dr), westdrift Manhattan Beach (1400 Parkview Ave) or The Belamar Hotel (3501 N Sepulveda Blvd) often need an airport transfer on checkout day. Give us the hotel name and the entrance you want and the chauffeur meets you there.
Park days
Polliwog Park (1601 Manhattan Beach Blvd) and Live Oak Park, home of the Old Hometown Fair each October, draw families on weekends. We bring child seats on request, so share the children’s ages when you book.
Beach events
The AVP Manhattan Beach Open is held at the pier in August. Crowds are likely, so we plan arrival and pickup with a clear window and a named drop-off point.
Evening and longer plans
For a long night out or a day of stops, see our limo service in Manhattan Beach, which uses the same luxury sedans and SUVs on a longer schedule.
