Car service in Lakewood, planned around the city
Lakewood is a grid of residential streets with a few big arteries, and most of the planning comes down to those arteries. Here’s how we approach a ride.
Lakewood Boulevard and Del Amo
Lakewood Boulevard is the main north-south road, and Del Amo Boulevard crosses it at the mall. The corner is busy on weekends and around the holidays, so we set pickup spots a little off the main entrance when you’re meeting a group.
Choosing a freeway
The 91, the 605 and the 405 are all within a few miles of the mall. Which one is fastest depends on the hour and on where you’re headed, so your chauffeur picks the route on the day instead of following a fixed plan.
Golf days and club events
Lakewood Country Club has an 18-hole course and three banquet halls. If you’re heading there for a tournament dinner or a private party, tell us the end time and we schedule the ride home before you leave.
Parks and community days
Mayfair Park, with its community center and pool, draws families all year. For a group outing, one SUV carries six and a second car travels alongside so nobody splits up.
Flying in or out
Long Beach Airport (LGB) is the nearest, and LAX is a longer drive across the county. Our Lakewood airport transfers page covers both.
