Planning an airport ride from Temple City
Temple City is close to several highways, but they are not equal. A few things are worth settling before you pick an airport or a pickup time.
Which airport suits your flight
Check which airport your airline uses first. Burbank is the closest of the three and tends to feel more manageable, while Ontario is the one to pick when your flight leaves from there. LAX has the most routes and the longest drive.
Getting to the highway
From the middle of the city, Rosemead Boulevard leads south to the Interstate 10 interchange and north into Pasadena, where it meets Interstate 210. Which way the car heads depends on your airport and the hour, and we talk it through when you book.
Choosing the pickup time
Start with the time you want to be at the terminal, then add the drive. Morning and late afternoon lengthen the trip toward Burbank and LAX, and midday is often easier. We help you pick a pickup time rather than guess.
Bags and car size
A sedan is right for one to three travelers with normal luggage. Families, golf trips and big suitcase loads call for the SUV, which fits up to six passengers with their bags.
Traveling with children
Child seats are available on request. Tell us the age of each child when you reserve and the right seat will be in the car.
Early flights and red-eyes
A 6 a.m. departure means leaving while the neighborhood is still dark, and a red-eye lands you back at an hour when few other options exist. We answer the phone at any hour, so a pickup at 3 a.m. is booked the same way as one at noon. Tell us the time you need to be at the terminal and we work out the rest with you.
Meeting at the curb
Terminals differ in how they handle pickups. At the airport, tell us your airline and terminal when you book, and let us know if you have a mobility need or a lot of bags so we can plan the pickup accordingly.
Returning home
Send the airline and the flight number for the return and we plan the pickup around it. Your fixed price covers the trip you booked, so there is no need to compare apps at the curb.
