Planning an airport ride from San Bernardino County
A good airport transfer starts with a few details you can give us in one call. Here is what matters most in this county.
Which terminal at Ontario
ONT has two terminals. Terminal 4 handles American, JetBlue, Southwest and Starlux. Terminal 2 handles Delta, United, Frontier, avianca and China Airlines. International arrivals are picked up at 2222 International Way, so tell us if you are flying in from abroad.
Reaching the airport
ONT’s own directions bring Los Angeles drivers east on the 10 to the Archibald Avenue exit, Orange County drivers up the 57 to the 10 east, Long Beach drivers up the 605 to the 10, and Riverside and Temecula drivers up the 15 to the 10 west. We choose the best of these on the day, based on traffic.
Early departures from the desert
Travelers from Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley or Twentynine Palms face a longer start than anyone in the valley. Tell us the departure time and the airline, and we suggest a pickup time with a safe margin and confirm it the day before.
Returning from a trip
Give us the flight number and your final address. If the plane lands early or late, the chauffeur adjusts to the new time, and we confirm how any change affects the booking when you call.
Meeting a charter
Private flights keep their own rhythm. Send the operator, the tail number if you know it and the passenger names. The chauffeur then works out the meeting point so you cross from the aircraft to the car without detours. The same goes for flights into Chino, Apple Valley and Big Bear City.
Groups and luggage
One SUV takes up to six passengers with luggage. For a bigger party we time several cars to depart at the same moment. Golf clubs, strollers and instrument cases are fine, as long as you mention them so we plan the room.
Choosing between ONT and SBD
For most itineraries the choice is made by the airline and the fare, not by us. We simply need the flight number, and we plan the pickup around whichever airport it leaves from.
