Planning an airport ride from El Monte
Most trouble on an airport morning comes from guesses. These are the choices we settle with you early.
Pick the airport on the ticket
Fares sometimes tip a flight to Ontario or LAX when Burbank would be shorter on the map. Book what makes sense for your trip. We handle any of them, and a round trip can use different airports on each end.
Setting the pickup time
We start from your departure, count back the time you want at the gate, and add a cushion for the roads on that route. The 10 and the 605 clog earlier than people expect, so a morning departure leaves earlier than a map would suggest.
Arrivals and the wait
Give us your airline and flight number. We watch the actual landing, so an early arrival or a long taxi doesn’t strand anyone. We confirm how long the driver waits when you book, and a text to the number we send you handles the rest.
Bags, gear and little passengers
Golf bags, a folded stroller and two big suitcases need a different plan from a carry-on. Tell us the list and the ages of any children, and we assign the right vehicle and a child seat if you need one.
Private flights at San Gabriel Valley Airport
The county-owned airfield on Santa Anita Avenue was called El Monte Airport until 2014 and is still coded EMT. Send us the operator or the tail number and your landing time, and the car will be at the right gate.
