Getting around Bakersfield with a private driver
Bakersfield is easy to read once you know its main pieces. Here is how we think about them when we plan a ride.
Downtown
Downtown holds most of the evening activity. The Historic Fox Theater is at 2001 H Street, the Padre Hotel stands at 18th and H, and the Dignity Health Arena, Theater and Convention Center is on Truxtun Avenue. On a show night we agree on a drop-off point with you ahead of time, so the evening starts without circling the block.
The west side and Rosedale
The Seven Oaks, Rosedale and Riverlakes areas reach toward the newer shopping and office corridors. Tell us the exact address and the time of your appointment and we plan the route to match.
Stockdale Highway and the university
California State University, Bakersfield is at 9001 Stockdale Highway. Graduations and family weekends bring many guests at once, so send us a pickup for each party and we line up the vehicles.
Chester Avenue and the hospitals
Adventist Health Bakersfield is at 2615 Chester Avenue, and the Kern County Museum is at 3801 Chester Avenue. Families visiting from out of town often want a dependable ride along this corridor, and we confirm the pickup details with you in advance.
East Bakersfield and the foothills
East of the city, State Route 58 heads toward the Tehachapi foothills, where Murray Family Farms sits at 6700 General Beale Road. It makes an easy outing for a group, and one chauffeur can handle the whole loop.
Between the valley and the mountains
Bakersfield sits where the flat valley meets the Tehachapi foothills, and Interstate 5 is the road toward the Los Angeles area. Trips north on State Route 99 and east on State Route 58 start from the same booking process, and the chauffeur handles the route.
Booking a Bakersfield trip
A request is complete once we know where you start, where you finish, when, and how many people ride. Mention golf bags, a stroller or a stop along the way and the plan adjusts. You see the final fare before the date arrives.
