Planning your airport ride from Palm Springs
The airport you choose, and the street you start from, shape the plan. These notes cover the common cases.
Choosing PSP
Palm Springs International is in the city, and its master plan describes it as accessible from all directions via CA-111, about five miles south of I-10. From a downtown hotel the trip is short, so we plan around your airline’s check-in and the amount of luggage, not the road.
Airport car service in Palm Springs for groups
A wedding party, a golf group or two couples traveling together often need more than one vehicle. Say so up front and we plan sedans, SUVs or both, so everyone leaves for the terminal at the same hour.
Choosing Ontario
Ontario is about 70 road miles from Palm Springs. Travelers pick it for a specific carrier or a lower fare, and the drive to it deserves its own plan, with a comfortable start and room for traffic on the way.
Choosing LAX
LAX is more than 100 road miles away, which makes it a full outing. We suggest an early pickup for departures and a plan for the ride back that matches your landing time.
Hotel and resort departures
Properties such as Colony Palms, only about a mile and a half from the airport, and Parker Palm Springs on East Palm Canyon Drive each have their own entrance habits. Name the hotel and tell us where you want to be met.
Timing the pickup
We do not guess at flight times. For a departure, tell us your airline and the time on your ticket. For an arrival, send the flight number so we can plan the meeting point with you. Every extra stop, such as a pharmacy or a dinner reservation on the way, goes into the plan before we quote.
Arriving in town
When you land, you will want to know where to find the chauffeur. Send your airline and flight number ahead, and we confirm the meeting plan with you.
