Airport car service in Glendale: planning your transfer
Airport rides are the one booking where timing matters more than comfort. Here is how we handle each airport and the questions we ask first.
Hollywood Burbank (BUR)
Glendale is Burbank’s neighbor, so most rides take a short stretch of the 5 or surface streets. Even so, we ask for your airline and terminal and give you a pickup time with a sensible gap before check-in, because Burbank mornings fill up with business travelers.
LAX
The trip from Glendale is roughly 25 miles and crosses the heart of L.A. We route by time of day and what the freeways are doing, and we tell you the leave-by time up front. Evening arrivals often run smoother than weekday departures.
Van Nuys (VNY)
This is a general aviation field, so there are no airline terminals. Tell us the operator or hangar and the tail number if you have it, and the chauffeur meets you at the right gate.
Time of day changes the plan
A 6 a.m. weekday run to LAX and a Sunday afternoon run are different trips even over the same roads. When you book, tell us whether you are cutting it close or have hours to spare, and we will choose the departure time to match. If you are cutting it close, say so plainly. We would rather hear it on Monday than discover it on the freeway.
Tracking your flight
Send your flight number when you book. We follow it from departure, so a landing 40 minutes early or an hour late does not change who is waiting for you.
Bags and car seats
Count the large bags and any golf clubs or strollers, and we’ll choose a sedan or an SUV. Child seats are available on request, so tell us the ages.
