How to plan an hourly booking in Ventura County
An hourly day goes best when the plan has room in it. These are the points we cover with you.
Estimate the hours honestly
Add the driving, the time at each stop and a cushion for traffic and for people running late. If the day grows, call us and we update the booking. If it shrinks, tell us that too, and we confirm what it means before you finish.
List the stops, in order if you can
Send each address with the time you want to arrive. If you are unsure of the order, we suggest one that avoids doubling back across the Conejo Grade or crossing from Simi Valley to Ventura more than once.
Choose sedan or SUV
A sedan is good for one to three people. The SUV is better for families, shopping days and groups of up to six with bags.
Plan the meals
The chauffeur can wait while you eat. If you want to book a table, tell us the restaurant, and we plan a drop-off at the door and a return pickup at the end.
Share the contact details
If guests meet you at different stops, give us their names and numbers. The chauffeur can message them with the pickup spot, which saves you from coordinating from the back seat.
Plan the quiet stretches
On a long booking, some stretches are just driving. The back seat is yours: work, rest or talk. Mention if you prefer the chauffeur to stay quiet, and the ride follows your lead from the first minute to the last drop-off.
Event days
The Ventura County Fairgrounds, the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks and the Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center at Ventura Harbor can all be a busy drop-off. Share the event time and we agree where the car stops.
Weddings and long celebrations
A wedding day has many moving parts: hair appointments, photographs, the ceremony and a reception that may be in a different city. Book the hours that cover the whole day, send the timeline and the addresses, and the chauffeur follows it. Our luxury chauffeur page for the county has more on weddings.
Business days across the county
A sales trip or a site tour often visits Camarillo in the morning, Oxnard at midday and Thousand Oaks after lunch. One hourly booking keeps the same chauffeur and the same car for the whole route, so your colleagues are not shuffled between rides.
Ending somewhere else
Your day does not have to end where it started. A booking can finish at an airport, a hotel or a different city, and we plan the last leg with you.
