Airport car service in Oxnard, planned from the road up
With no scheduled flights at home, the airport choice is the first decision. This is what we talk through when you book.
Which airport suits your trip
Start with the airline and the ticket. Burbank, LAX and Santa Barbara each have their own carriers and routes, and the cheapest or most direct flight often decides it. Tell us where you are flying from and we set the timing for that airport.
The Ventura Freeway
US 101 serves Oxnard, and Highway 1 meets it near Rice Avenue. For Burbank and LAX the trip heads inland and south, and for Santa Barbara it heads up the coast. We choose the route on the day, because a crash or a slowdown changes the best option.
Early flights and late arrivals
A 6 a.m. departure from LAX can mean an alarm in the middle of the night. Give us the flight time and we propose the pickup. For late arrivals, we agree on the meeting spot before you take off.
Trains and the harbor
The Oxnard station on E. Fourth Street has Amtrak and Metrolink service, and some guests combine a train with a private ride. Others begin at Channel Islands Harbor after a boat trip to Channel Islands National Park. Wherever your day ends, we line up the car for the airport.
Luggage and children
Tell us how many people are traveling and how many bags. A sedan suits a couple with two suitcases, and the SUV handles a family with strollers and golf clubs. Child seats are available on request, so add the ages when you book.
Private aviation
Oxnard Airport has fixed-base operators such as Oxnard Aircraft & Jet Center on West Fifth Street, and Camarillo Airport serves private aircraft too. Send us the operator name and we coordinate the pickup spot.
