Planning an airport ride from Camarillo
A good airport plan starts with the airline and ends with a sensible buffer. This is how we think about each of the three main options.
Burbank (BUR)
Hollywood Burbank is roughly 50 miles away by road. Travelers who want a smaller terminal choose it, and the drive is usually the shortest of the three. It is also the stop for many riders who combine the trip with business in the San Fernando Valley.
LAX
LAX lies roughly 55 miles from Camarillo. International departures and busy airlines call for the longest cushion, so we ask for your terminal and airline to set the pickup time. If you are returning, we can meet you after bags and bring you straight home.
Santa Barbara (SBA)
Santa Barbara is roughly 50 miles away by road. It suits regional flights and travelers heading north, so check which airline and route you need before you pick it. We pick the departure with the day’s traffic in mind.
Choosing between the three
Most riders pick the airport by airline and destination, not by distance. A nonstop to the East Coast may only leave from one of them, and the fares often decide the rest. Once you have your ticket, send us the terminal and we plan the trip around it.
Leaving from the hills or from Old Town
Your starting point inside Camarillo changes the first few minutes of the trip, especially if you are coming down from Spanish Hills or Camarillo Heights. The chauffeur uses the address you give us and heads for the freeway from there. A gate code or a guest entrance is worth mentioning when you book.
Private aircraft
The Camarillo Airport (CMA) and Van Nuys (VNY) serve private flights. Tell us the operator, the hangar or the terminal and we coordinate the ride around it. For airport arrivals in a larger group, see our BUR limo service in Camarillo page.
