Airport car service in Escondido: getting to the terminal
A long ride to the terminal works best when the small details are decided early. This is what we ask for and why.
Picking SAN or CLD
San Diego International serves the major airlines, while McClellan-Palomar is a smaller airport in Carlsbad. Check your ticket for the airport code and tell us which one it names.
Leaving from the north side
Pickups in Hidden Meadows, East Grove or near Daley Ranch begin a good distance from the I-15 interchange at Via Rancho Parkway. Give us the exact address and we plan a start time that suits the road, not just the map.
Leaving from the valley
Guests staying near the Safari Park on San Pasqual Valley Road or at a San Pasqual Valley winery can be collected at the entrance. Orfila Vineyards and Winery is one such stop. Tell us the building or gate you will wait at.
Downtown departures
From Old Escondido near Grand Avenue, the route to the freeway is short, but the airport is still a long way beyond it. We set the time from your flight, then add room for the drive.
Bags and car seats
Large suitcases, golf clubs and strollers are fine if you list them when you book. We can add a child seat on request, and an SUV is the better pick once there are more than three people.
Dropping off visitors
Relatives who flew in for a wedding or a Safari Park weekend often leave from the same address they arrived at. Book the outbound leg together with the arrival so both rides are confirmed in one conversation.
Arrivals back to Escondido
Before you fly home, we agree on where to meet at the terminal. When you land, call or text and the chauffeur heads for the pickup point you chose.
