Getting around Westminster by car
A few streets and a handful of landmarks account for most rides here. Knowing them makes booking quicker.
Little Saigon on Bolsa Avenue
The Asian Garden Mall at 9200 Bolsa Ave. is the best-known address in the district. When you book from there, tell us which side of the building you will be on, since the front is busy with shoppers and events.
Beach Boulevard
Beach Boulevard is State Route 39, and it connects the hotels, banquet rooms and restaurants along the city’s east side. The Best Western Palm Garden Inn is at 13659 Beach Blvd. and The Villa event venue is at 15081 Beach Blvd.
The civic center
The Westminster Rose Center, at 14140 All American Way, stands close to City Hall, the library, the courthouse, Coastline College and Freedom Park. If you are heading to an event there, send us the entrance you plan to use.
Freeways through town
The San Diego Freeway (I-405) and the Garden Grove Freeway (SR-22) both pass through Westminster. Which one is faster changes through the day, so we choose on the drive.
Tet Parade days
The city’s Tet Parade starts at Bolsa Avenue and Magnolia Street, heads east on Bolsa and turns south on Bushard Street. Streets near the route are busy that morning, so tell us early where you need to be picked up.
Rides beyond the city
Westminster touches Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley and Seal Beach. Dinner trips to those cities and airport runs ride on the same booking.
